Ella Bay Resort Development

Ella Bay, a north Queensland former cattle station is one step closer to be transformed into an integrated golf course, residential and tourist resort in a development billed as Queensland's biggest-ever tourism project. Queensland Premier Campbell Newman recently announced the Satori Ella Bay 450-hectare $1.4bn Ella Bay proposal had received approval from the state Coordinator-General after seven years. The Ella Bay project, a new eco-resort for Far North Queensland will comprise three resort precincts, four residential quarters, a retail village and an 18-hole golf course and a cassowary research and educational center. Graham Marsh Golf Design has completed the Golf Course Master planning in conjunction with DBI Design. The final stages of design will continue to recognize all of the environmentally sensitive matters associated with this 1.4 billion development.
